FAQ’s:
When do you do Senior Photos? Usually the summer before your senior year or the fall. September and October are the most popular months. April (after Spring Break) is another popular time.
When should I book a date? Dates open July 1st for Summer/Fall 2025. February 1st for Spring dates 2025.
Do the Mom’s come to the session? A little known fact about me is that I ask that no one comes to the session. Lots of reasons why, but mainly this gives me time to really connect with your son or daughter. I need to form a bond with the senior that is only done if it is one on one. This way it is a big surprise to the parents, and honestly less stressful for everyone.
I see lots of pictures of girls, do boys do senior photos? YES! Having two teenage boys myself, I understand the horror of this. MOST boys can handle a mini session and I make it as painless as possible.
How many outfits? For a full session 3-4, for a mini session 1-2
How do I chose a location? I am happy to help with this. My most favorite sessions are the ones unplanned. We hop in my car and let the spirit move us! I like to be spontaneous. I also don’t want your pictures to look like anyone else’s. Urban locations are my jam, and I usually throw in a little nature too. Mini sessions are at one location near Kirkwood.
How long does a session last? I never shoot for time, rather until I get the shots I need. For a full session, usually 1-2 hours is a safe bet.
What is the best time of day? This is not that important to me. I try to avoid 11-2 when it is super hot in the summer, but other than that it does not matter. I find good light whenever and wherever. It’s my superpower.
When do I see the images? I will always send a few the day of or the next day so you can get a peak. Your entire gallery will be ready to view within 14 business days of your session.
Do you give digital images? YES, you will get 50 full resolution digital images of your choice (10 for mini sessions), for you to instantly download and I will recommend a lab for printing.
What about hair/make up/wardrobe? Hair and make up is up to you-whatever you are comfortable with. I have make up artists that I work with as well as an amazing stylist. If you are interested, I am happy to pass along their info.
How do I book a session!? Go to the BOOK NOW link above. Half of the session is due upon booking to secure your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.
